He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmet Freiberg and Gertrude Freiberg (Cleveland); his wife Joann I. Kemnitz; and his siblings, Roger Freiberg, Eugene Freiberg (Ruth), Myrtle Trott and Ruth Fox (Elmer).
He is survived by: his sons, Craig Freiberg (Lisa) of Van Dyne and Eric Freiberg (Tracy) of Fond du Lac; his grandchildren, Kodi Barthels (Ethan), Ryan Freiberg (Michaella), Meg Tadych (Matt), Jacob Freiberg (Becca), Jonathan Freiberg (Teague), Hannah Zuberbier (Benjamin) and Kari Freiberg; his great grandchildren, Paxton, Rhett, Lakyn Barthels, Wrenley Freiberg, Fletcher, Colsen, Layla Tadych, Maizie, Owen Freiberg, Jack, May and Violet Zuberbier; and his sisters, Jane Smet and Doris Warner.
The inurnment will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the North Eldorado Cemetery (W9419 Olden Rd, Eldorado, WI 54932).
