He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Ritter and Theresa Ritter (Caldwell); his wife Mary Lou; his son Gary; his son-in-law Don Resop; his siblings, Joann Agnew (Nat) and Tom Ritter (Mary Cay); and his brother-in-law Kelly Kellenberger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Terri Resop and Catherine Ritter (Robert Zoelle); his granddaughter Mary Sparby (Dave); his great grandchildren, Adam Resop (Crystal) and Amber Sparby; his great great grandchildren, Joshua Swanson and Jaxon Resop; and his sister Carolyn Kellenberger. He is also survived by six nieces.
