It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Talavera (Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin), born in Uvalde, Texas, who passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Talavera and Maria "Refugia" Talavera. He is survived by: his wife Laura Lynn Turner Talavera; his siblings, Homer Talavera (Maria Elena), Julian Talavera, James Talavera, Christine T. Tabares, Rosaria T. Compean and Cecilia T. Martinez (George); his children, Christy Talavera, Sonia Talavera (Jason Griffin), Charlene Talavera and Stormy Cain; and his grandchildren, Averial Orchard, Lauren Orchard, Isabelle Griffin, Reign Wedell, Joshua Wedell, Eminence Talavera and Lux Talavera.
