He is survived by: his daughter Jill Vail (Terry); his grandchildren, Ryan Vail, Angela Cavazos, Stephen Cavazos and Melanie Powel (Chris); his sister Donna Doeberiener; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Vail and Vicki Hedden (Steve). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
