It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard James of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 78, on October 4, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland James and Hazel James (Johnson); and his granddaughter Hannah James. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Ciaglo of Fort Atkinson; his sons, Nick James (Kellie) of Weston, Conn. and Brad James (Natalie Bretl) of Milwaukee; his grandson Caden; and his brothers, Tom James (Nancy) of Overland Park, Kansas and Jeff James of East Moline, Ill.. He is also survived by nephews; nieces; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (314 Barrie St, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (1660 Endl Blvd, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Fort Atkinson Lions Club Foundation, UW Health Carbone Cancer Center or Trinity Lutheran Church Choir.
