He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sterwald and Charlotte Sterwald (Fischer); and his sister Dawn. He is survived by: his wife Claire Ann Sterwald (Lukas); his children, Christopher of Milton, WI, Richard Lee of Buckeye, AZ, Michael of Jefferson, WI and Nichole of Milton, WI; his siblings, Sandra Messerschmidt (Donald), Debra Johns (Dennis), Steven (Sue), Gary (Nancy) and Dale (Cheryl); and his grandchildren, Kaity, Christopher, Keiana, Zachery, Adriana, Lukas, Kenna, Keirah, Bryce, Brayden and Vanessa. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
