John Mund Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Mund (Fox Lake, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Mund and Mildred Mund (Roepke); and his brother Tom Mund. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine (Slavens); his children, Scott (Hui) of Tallahassee, Kimberly Wolkenbriet (Jamie) of Salida, Rebecca Marquardt (David) of Grand Rapids and James of Fox Lake; his sister Jane Lienau (David) of Old Mission; and his siblings-in-law, Marcia Ehrhardt (Bob) of Oconomowoc, Patrick Slavens (Laurie) of Madison, Charles Slavens of Mazomanie and Michael Slavens of Stevens Point. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fox Lake City Hall, for The Friends of Clausen Park.
