Mary Reiter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Reiter (Fox Point, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Reiter; her parents, Charles Cianciolo and Liboria Cianciolo; her siblings, Lawrence Cianciolo and Anna Jo Hafeman; and her grandson Jack O'Hollaren.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Burnett, Charles Reiter (Deborah Petersen), Christopher Reiter (Theresa O'Hollaren) and Amy McGovern; her son-in-law Michael McGovern; her grandchildren, Michael (Jessica), Annie (Reece), Peter, Rachel, Vivian (Grant), Emma, Tom (Makenzie), Jack McGovern and Julia; and her great grandchild Juniper. She is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Eugene Catholic Church (7600 N Port Washington Rd, Fox Point, WI 53217). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Eugene Congregation (7600 N Port Washington Rd, Fox Point, WI 53217). The inurnment will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at the Resurrection Cemetery (9400 W Donges Bay Rd, Mequon, WI 53092).
In lieu of flowers, we welcome memorial contributions in Mary's name be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) or Lawlis Family Hospice.
