Vera Komala Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 23, 2025, at the age of 89, Vera Komala (Fox Point, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Vera is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Vera's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Komala; and her brothers, Gösta (Tora) and Karl-Eric (Sonya). She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Cindy Kollar (Carl) and Kimberley Davis; and her siblings, Stig Benson (late Ingrid), Irma Nilsson (late Nils-Gunnar), Brita Bendz (Eril) and Lennart Bengtsson (Rita). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Smile Train, who provides training, funding, and resources to empower medical professionals to provide free cleft surgery to those in need.
