He is survived by: his wife Susan (Nee Glas); the father of his child David Welle; his grandsons, Saul Japuntich and Clayton Japuntich (Kaila); his great grandchildren, Rodney, Reinette and Reagan Japuntich; and his sisters, Gloria Thomsen (Gene), Karen Fussy and Brenda Meyer (Dennis). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Max A Sass & Sons – Mission Hills Chapel (8910 W Drexel Ave, Franklin, WI 53132). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Max A. Sass & Sons.
