With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George J. Schalk Jr. (Franklin, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gloria Schalk; his children, Laura Schalk (Michael Davis), George III Schalk (Claudia) and Karen Semanski (Jesse North); his grandchildren, Rachel Anderson (Austin) and Jack Semanski; his great grandchild Bobbi Georgi; his siblings, Karl Schalk (late Barbara), Maureen Narey (late Larry), Paul Schalk (Nancy Trapp), Margaret Thompson (Ken), Ray Schalk (Lisa) and Richard Schalk (Susie); and his sister-in-law Joan Giuffre (Dominic). He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in George's name would be appreciated to either the Wisconsin Humane Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to Make a Wish. Make a donation to one of the following charities in remembrance of George J. Schalk, Jr.
