He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Schmidt; his children, Deborah Guthrie (Brian), Douglas Schroeder (Diana), Michael Schroeder (Nancy) and Judith Leu (Randall); his sister Dorothy Schroeder; his sisters-in-law, Margaret Schroeder and Donna Schroeder; and his grandchildren, Michael, Daniel (Allison), Rebecca (Andrew), Lee (Tricia), Sarah (Matthew), Rachel (Jeremy), Keri (Travis), Joshua (Hannah), Collin (Korey), Jacob and Susan (Logan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are welcome to St. Matthew Church for continued renovation of the little brick church.
