With sadness, we share the passing of Janet M. Mandel of Franklin, Wisconsin. Janet, born on September 10, 1951 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, passed away on June 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Slater and Constance Slater. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Mandel; her children, Andrew Mandel (Ashley), Max, Matilyn and Meehan Koziura (Christopher); her grandchildren, Elliot, Porter and Barrett; and her siblings, Greg Slater, Ken Slater, Mary Carr, Barb Adons, Lynn Beranek, Terry Schatz and Carol Gamber. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, coworkers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Janet's honor to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (https://lbda.org.) or the Alzheimer's Association (https://www.alz.org.) to support research, education, and care for individuals and families affected by dementia.
