She was predeceased by: her husband Tullio; her parents, Estelle Hess and Eugene Hess; her children, Jeff and Sandy; her sisters, Jeanne Cleppe and Madge Kawczynski (late Eugene); and her nieces and nephews, Jody Dilworth, Wendy Grant (late Paul), Rick (Jeannine), Randy Kawczynski (Lorri), Jerry Cleppe (Lynn), Karen Woelfel, Tom Cleppe (Nancy), Kathy Hanley (Tony), Maryangela Román (Edwin), Christina Surtz (Chris), Elise Saur (Mike) and Mario Giuliani.
She is survived by: her close friend John Ruffing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, or St. John the Evangelist Catholic School in Greenfield, Wisconsin.
