He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul (Elma Hackbarth) and Bob; and his siblings, William Hackbarth and Mary Kay Hackbarth. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Stebbins, Cynthia Lewandowski (Matthew), Mark Hackbarth (Autumn) and Katherine Hackbarth; his grandchildren, Owen, Alexander, Remington, Hazel and Pierce; his siblings, James Hackbarth (Karen), Karen Straka (Russel), Susan Hetchler (Jeffrey) and Nancy Warneke (Eugene); the mother of his children Patricia Bottoni (Todd); and his friend Lorie Milos.
A reception was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home (625 Browns Lake Dr, Burlington, WI 53105).
