He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shevey and Bernice Shevey; his in-laws, Francis and Florence Kearney; and his brother-in-law Henry Mattrisch.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his sister Diane Mattrisch; and his sons, John Daniel Winter (Ann), Michael Winter (Brenda), Brian Winter (Cheryl) and Rev. Wayne Shevey (Julie). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
