He was predeceased by : his wife Shirley Salzman Spilka; and his siblings, Walter and Marion Sosnowski. He is survived by : his daughter Christine Kelch; his sister Joan Spilka; his sons, Daniel and Michael; his grandchildren, Heather, Nathaniel Smith, Megan Fritz, Shawn Kelch, Michael and Jason Spilka; and his nieces and nephews, Diane Bielinski, Susan, Alexander Sosnowski (Karen) and Walter Jr..
