With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Murphy of Frederic, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 29, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Murphy (Bud) and Gretchen Murphy (Van Atta). He is survived by: his wife Lois of Frederic; his children, Anna Murphy (Jason) and Justin Murphy (Crystal); his grandchildren, Dakotah (Jordan), Jonathon (Autumn), Abygail, Fay, Kaitlyn and Dylan; his brother Mike (Pat); his siblings-in-law, Edward (Kim), Kevin (Nancy), Brian (Sandy), Juanita and Theresa (Cliff); and his close friends, Roger and Rita Krause. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many other beloved extended family.
