He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Peterson and Myrtle Peterson; and his brothers, Warren and Roger Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Smith; his sister Ruth Ann Thiel; his children, Kimberlee (Michael Donaldson), Kevin (Lisa) and Kyle (Maury); his grandson Finn Peterson; and his friend Ken. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church (507 Wisconsin Ave N, Frederic, WI 54837). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
