With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph R. Short of Fredonia, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2025 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph R. Short to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Short and Evelyn Short; and his siblings, Rosemary, James "Jimmy" Banagan, Phillip Banagan and Gene Short.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Paciora of Fredonia; his son Nathaniel Short of Franklin; his pet Niko; his siblings, Brenda Fay Mulvaney (George), Louise Owens, George Short and William "Billy" Short; and his brother-in-law Lenny Paciora. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Divine Savior Parish - Holy Cross Chapel (5330 Co Hwy B, Belgium, WI 53004). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
