He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Behnke and Florence Behnke; his stepmother Lorraine Loose; his father-in-law George Muenster; and his grandparents, Ernst, Selma Behnke, George and Ruth Behnke.

He is survived by : his wife Lynne Muenster; his children, Erin Conrad (Brandon) and Derek Behnke (Kim); his grandchildren, Kelcie, Blake Conrad, McKayla Fitz and Madison Behnke; his mother-in-law LaVerne Muenster; his siblings, Dale Behnke (Anita), Nancy Baumgartner (Richard) and Darlene Propson (Mark); and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Land (Mike) and Patti Dombrowski (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Freedom Moravian Church (W3471 Center Valley Rd, Appleton, WI 54913). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
