Lewis McGowan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lewis McGowan of Fremont, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McGowan and Coy McGowan (Moore); and his sister Barbara Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Judy Kolstra; his sons, Michael (Amy), Andrew (Jessica) and David (Deliana Rivera); his grandchildren, Gavin, Sophia, Evelyn and Charlie; and his siblings, Robert McGowan (Betty), Sharon Brannon and Cindy Nichols. He is also survived by nieces nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (200 South St, Weyauwega, WI 54983). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established for Fremont-Wolf River American Legion Post 391.
