He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Ramsden and Lempi Ramsden (Wilson); and his wife Vera Carlson. He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Calgaro (Lewis) of Arkdale, WI and Kristen Oakey (Joseph) of Arlington Heights, IL; his brother Bruce Ramsden (Diane) of Gurnee, IL; his niece Jamie Holmer (Corey) of Gurnee; Nicole Calgaro (Tim Simmons) of Denver, CO and Robin Oakey of Arlington Heights, IL.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or Feline/Canine Friends, two causes close to Bernie's heart.
