While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Otto Lensert and Alice Marie Lensert (Burns). He is survived by: his wife Joan Karan Lensert (Rebhahn); his sister Cheryl Tucker of Elkhorn, WI; and his children, Kelly Ann Oakes (Lensert) of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Roxanne Marie Baldwin (Lensert) of Chandler, AZ and Chad Edward Lensert (Deanne Lensert) of Waunakee, WI.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery (21731 Spring St, Union Grove, WI 53182).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin.
