She was predeceased by: her brother Jessie Ceballos. She is survived by: her parents, Dr. Cecil Austin and Bonnie (Tom Miller); her sister Debora Austin; her nephews, Elijah Austin and Jesse Rutledge (Bernard Gregory); her great-nephew Antonio Torres; her sister Sarah Ceballos; and her pets, Bam Bam, Loki and Sammy. She is also survived by relatives, friends.

Amy's family chose to donate her eyes to the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin with the hope that a recipient will see the world the way Amy did.
