Gerald T. Treis Obituary

Of Germantown, found peace on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at the age of 78 years. Jerry was born on September 23, 1944, a son of Gilbert and Estell Treis. He married the love of his life, Nancy Bavers on August 12, 1967. Hand in hand they shared 56 adventurous years together, raising their children, and creating memories. A cowboy at heart, Jerry loved watching old westerns and reading books. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Jerry and his sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who know him. Jerry is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Steve (Sue) Treis and Jenni Treis; grandchildren, Calyn (Mitch) Strobel, Alyson Treis, and Braydon Treis; great-grandchildren, Madilynn, McKinnley, and Tucker. Jerry is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Barbara Bath, Carol Bath, Gilbert Treis, and Thomas Treis. Per Jerry's request a private family graveside service will be held.
