Of Germantown. (nee Schultz) Born to go to heaven January 3, 2024 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of Paul E. Bernard Sr. for 56 years. Devoted mom of Paul Jr. (Katie), David (Cindy), Duane (Michelle) and Ricky (Gerri). Proud grandma of 11 and great-grandma of 5. Dear sister of Jeannie (Oscar) Sagmo. Further survived by many other family and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Alvina (nee Wendtland) and siblings Delbert, Melvin, Geraldine and Darlene.

More than anything Joan enjoyed having a good time with family. Everyone was welcome in her home. She never went by Mrs. Bernard, always Joannie, Ma, Mom, Grandma, or Auntie to many. She loved cooking and baking and you always left the house with a full belly.

Visitation at the FUNERAL HOME in Menomonee Falls Saturday, January 20 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Service to start at Noon. In lieu of flowers, go out and have a good time in her memory.
