He was predeceased by: his parents, Elise B. Rieder and Alan J. Rieder; his brother Mark Rieder; his father-in-law Richard Kreckel; and his sister-in-law Karri Bialoszynski.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy L. Kreckel; his children, Rebecca and Jonathon Rieder; his mother-in-law Janice Kreckel of Milwaukee; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Rieder of Germantown, Richard Kreckel (Valerie) of Franklin, Robert Kreckel of Germantown, Kevin Kreckel (Ginger) of Arizona and Michael Bialoszynski of Milwaukee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
