Richard J. Hardtke Obituary
Richard J. Hardtke, of Germantown, WI, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at the age of 69 years old, after receiving treatment, over the past 8 months, for lung cancer and interstitial lung disease.
Beloved husband of Susan (nee Krueger). Proud dad of Benjamin (Gina) Hardtke and Jenna (Jacob) Olynick. Loving Grandpa of Calvin, Coralynn, and Landon.
Richard was born in Milwaukee on March 8, 1955. Cherished son of the late Frederick and Erma (nee Knoll) Hardtke. He is further survived by his sister, Ellen (Ronald) LaBlanc, and brother, Fred (Jaylene) Hardtke, nieces and nephew. He is also survived by other extended family, close neighbors and friends.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the medical staff at UW-Health University Hospital in Madison, with special thanks to Dr. Toby Campbell and Dr. Amy Malik.
