Richard J. Tickner Obituary
Richard J. "Dick" Tickner Of Germantown, died on Monday, October 31, 2022, at the age of 80 years. Dick was born in Glencoe, Minnesota on June 27, 1942, the son of Erwin and Mary Tickner. He married the love of his life, Arlene Sauer on June 2, 1962. Dick worked as a Machinist for Harley Davidson for almost 40 years. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and boating. His greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandkids. Dick proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
Dick will be dearly missed by his wife, Arlene; children, John Tickner, Janice Tickner, Kevin (Sue Montgomery) Tickner; grandchildren, Samuel (Alyssa Jankowski) Delvescovo, Megan (Anna Young) Tickner, Jack (Bella Sciachitano) Tickner; siblings, Edward (Nancy) Tickner, Jim Tickner, Erwin (Nina) Tickner, Dianne Tickner, and Marjorie Landkammer. Dick is further survived by other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister-in-law, Francis Tickner.
The visitation for Dick will be held at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, W250 N6505 Hwy 164, SUSSEX, WI on Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 4:30PM until the time of the memorial service at 6PM.
