After moving to a senior apartment, her most-recent pets were "adopted" by other family members. She loved having visits with her dog, Freckles, and seeing pictures of her cat, Macho Man.
SuZie was mainly a homemaker and farm wife, but also worked outside the home at various jobs at Chrysler Outboard, Eaton Manufacturing, and Wal-Mart, among others. She participated in 4-H as a youngster and was sewing leader while her daughters were involved. Her talents also encompassed academics, having won spelling bees and named class valedictorian at Juneau High School. Early in her marriage she won awards for dairy cattle judging.
