He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Sr. Winkler and Mildred Winkler (Christensen); his siblings, Mary Ann Sell, Dorothy Blanchard, Gene Winkler, Shirley Lusk, Helen Smith and Robert Winkler; and his brothers-in-law, Hoyt Blanchard (Dorthy), Buddy Smith (Helen) and Don Wagner.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Marie Wolf; his children, Jackie Wawiorka (Robbie), William Winkler (Amy), Mark Winkler (Tracy) and David Winkler (Melissa); his grandchildren, Ethan, Emily, Damon, Gabriele (Tim), Lee, Hank, Anna (Andrew), Reid (Makayla) and Brice (Karissa); his great grandchildren, KylaRayne, Emersyn, Noah, Wyatt, Kaisley, Penelope and Colter; his siblings, Randy Winkler (Peggy), Ricky Winkler (Sandy), Judy Wagner, Bonnie Juza (Ken) and Debbie Huffman (Bryon); and his sister-in-law Ellen Winkler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church of Morgan (3374 County Rd C, Oconto Falls, WI 54154). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
