He is survived by: his brother Bruce Thiex of Hope Hull, AL; his sister-in-law Pam Thiex (Susan Thiex) of Bowler; his close friend Debbie Ackerman (family: Amber Ackerman, Michelle Ackerman, Craig Malzahn, Miranda Malzahn, Mark Ackerman, Candice Ackerman, Quintin Sowinski, Svea Schreiber, Azara Ackerman, Myla Janssen, Mikkel Ostrowski, Maya Herrera, Ginnie Herrara, Alberto Herrera, Sadie Collinsworth, Sylas, Lincoln, Sally Hull, Judith Kapellen) of Gleason; and his friend Steve Jensen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
