He is survived by : his children, James Van Patter (Linda) of Beaver Dam, Helen Van Patter of Ladysmith and Peggy Jennerman (David) of Ladysmith; and his grandchildren, Aaron, Tyler, Elizabeth (Andy), Michelle, Jacquie, Crystal (Jeff) and Jon. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
