We announce the death of Dawn Marie DenHartog of Gordon, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 64. Dawn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joann M. Burhans, (Hunter) and Thomas W. Burhans, Sr.; her father-in-law Gerald Sr.; her daughter Tabitha; her grandchildren, Thacher and Phoebe; and her brother Jim Burhans.
She is survived by: her husband Brian L. DenHartog; her children, Mark Jr. of Minong, WI, Jennifer of Tomah, WI, Matthew (Krystal) of Luck, WI and Samantha (Mike) of Eau Claire, WI.; her grandchildren, Bella, Riddick, Taylor, Austin, Brenden, Dawson, Zach, Kierrah, Michael and Ariana; her siblings, Helen DenHartog (Jerry) of Tomah, WI, Bill Burhans of Poplar, WI, Sam Burhans (Wendy) of Poplar, WI, Jeff Burhans of Poplar, WI and Tom Burhans, Jr. of Superior; and her mother-in-law Patricia DenHartog of Minong, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Amnicon Town Hall (8985 US-2, South Range, WI 54874).
