She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Denow and Ethel Denow; her son Aaron Monson; and her husband Phillip Monson. She is survived by: her siblings, Lola Denow and James Denow; her children, Rachel Steliga and Mark Monson; and her grandchildren, Kiley, Austin, Trinity, Mark Jr. and Colson.

Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church or School, Paralyzed Veterans of America, The wounded Warrior Project or to the Grafton K9 Association.
