She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" H. Herbst Sr.; her parents, Hubert Birdsong and Phyllis Birdsong; and her sisters, Mary and Phyllis.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Martie), Kathy (Donn), Denis, Jerry Jr. (Patrice), Theresa St (Todd) and Patsy Wilhelme (Mike).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to distribute to Los Toros Foundation Inc. and Rising Stars Volunteer Tutors.
