With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael J. Weinreis of Grafton, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael J. Weinreis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Weinreis and Alvera Weinreis (Dohr); the mother of his children Ruth Ann Weinreis; and his brother-in-law Larry Balthazor. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Bunnell (Dave) and Lisa Linzmeier (Carl); his close friend Nancy Jayne; his grandchildren, Stephanie Renard (Travis Renard), Jeff Bunnell (Holly), Brandon Bunnell and Andrew Linzmeier (Lindsey); his great grandchildren, Ashton Bunnell, Xander Renard, Lilith Renard, Taylor Bunnell, Peighton Bunnell and Braylon Bunnell; and his sister Joanne Balthazor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi (1121 N 14th St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (2221 Michigan Ave, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
