He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stewart and Emma Stewart; his brother Bill; his siblings-in-law, Ron Melquist, Terry Francis, Fred Winters, Carole Winters and Joan Francis; and his parents-in-law, Mary and Emmett Francis.

He is survived by: his wife Rosie; his daughter Debbie; his son-in-law Jeff Bongiorno; his grandchildren, Josh, Sean and AJ; and his sister Elaine Melquist. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
