He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry S. Hoppa and Martha M. Hoppa (Burczyk); his wife Carol E. Voss; his daughter Susan Carol; his brother Donald Hoppa; and his siblings-in-law, Charlotte and Ken Voss.
He is survived by: his children, Marihelen Hoppa, Kathleen Hoppa Grady (Mike), Barbara Hoppa, Margaret, Peg Haischer (Mike), Julie Miller (Nic Armstrong), Andrew Hoppa (Mary), Thomas Hoppa (Jessica), Elizabeth, Missy Zahn (Scott) and Patricia Hoppa (Chris Moore); his grandchildren, Olivia (Lulu Willbrandt), Gabrielle Willbrandt, Liam Grady, Fiona Grady, Aine Grady, Elliott Swanson, Celeste Swanson, Michael Haischer (Maria), Ali Roeker (TJ), Michelle Miller, Theo Miller (Erica), Brayden Hoppa, Jack Hoppa, Emma Kowalewski (Tyler), Greta Zahn, Owen Zahn, Ava Zahn, Dante Hoppa (Summer Hill), Devin Moore and Kalea Moore; and his great grandchildren, Jerome Haischer, Clara Haischer, Cameron Miller, Raegan Miller, Remington Kowalewski, Hudson Kowalewski and Avyana Hoppa. He is also survived by five nephews, a niece and their children.
