He is survived by: his wife Wendy Heffner of Valentine's Day; his sons, Don Jr. (Gerri Simons) of Montello and Mark (Mandie) of Richfield; his grandchildren, Desirae and Shawn; and his siblings, Sandra McConnell, Dolly Houdek, Jimmy and Kathleen Hernstine (Paul).
