With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Matrious (Grantsburg, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025 at the age of 53. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Deborah find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nancy Matrious and Morris Bearhart Sr.; her daughter Katrina Matrious; and her brother Matthew Matrious. She is survived by: her daughter Anna Matrious; and her siblings, Joseph Matrious, Morris Bearhart Jr., William Bearhart Sr., Claudette Matrious, Misty Matrious, Rita Garbow (Ron) and Jessica Benjamin-Garbow. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Danbury Tribal Hall (30335 W Minerva Dam Rd, Danbury, WI 54830). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
