He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wellman and Ellen Wellman (Johnson); his stepson Ira Willis; and his brother Milton Wellman. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Wellman; and his children, Charles Wellman (Christi), Margaret Auby (BJ), Bruce Willis and Gregory Willis. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Calvary Covenant Church (11530 WI-70, Grantsburg, WI 54840). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Covenant Church.
