She was predeceased by : her parents, Maurice H. Burgess and Eleanora I. Burgess; her husband Ernie; her daughter Wanda; her siblings, Harvey, Norman, Jerome, Murray and Audrey; and her pet Sammy.

She is survived by : her daughter Jerilyn (Dennis); and her grandchildren, Sherry Price, Tanya Flint, Artie Countryman, Timothy Countryman, Jennifer Oosterhouse, Tracey Hamlet, Gary Bell and David Bell. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
