She was predeceased by: her parents, Albin Indergand and Elsie Rufer Indergand; her husband Charles Opie of John's Church; her son Gregory; her brothers, Victor, Kenneth, Brooks and Louis; and her daughter-in-law Tami Opie.

She is survived by: her child Daryl Opie (Susie); her grandchildren, Terry, Kelly and Dennis; her children, Jeffrey Opie and Cheryl Webster (David); her grandchildren, Aaron and Erika; her daughter Tammy Piefer (Kim); her grandchild Kody; her son Jason Opie (Sarah); her grandchildren, Lillian and Lorelie; and her sister-in-law Mary Aeberhard. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Gloria's name.
