He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Long (Watermolen) and Milton "Lefty" Long; his brothers, Gary, Ron and Dave Long; and his niece Kim Long.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Long; his children, Jessica, Dan Mella, Sara and Tom Vivaldelli; his grandchildren, Mackade, Gabi, Kellan, Edison, Sophia and Luca; his brother Pat Long; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Van, Mary Ann Van, Joyce Long, Sue List and Laurie Long. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Al's name.
