With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Gomach of Green Bay, Wisconsin, born in De Pere, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 22, 2020 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bernice Gomach to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Roder and Mary Roder (Blecke); her husband Robert; and her siblings, Ruth Neary (John) and George Roder (Josephine).

She is survived by: her sons, Bob (Rena), Tom (Barbara) and Bruce (Joyce); and her grandchildren, Sara Peck (Nate), Dan Weitz (Tami), David Weitz (Robyn), Tom Gomach (Gail), Erin Matteson (Frank), Jeff Gomach (Debra) and Greg Gomach (Katelyn). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Out of concerns for COVID-19 safety, the family will gather privately for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am on Thursday, August 27.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.

“We remember very fondly my parents’ visits to Bob and Bernie Gomach’s house. It was a treat for us 8 kids to come along. Bernie was always so sweet to us. And I remember your grandmother lived on Stuart St. right around the corner from us when we were growing up. She always had beautiful flowers on her porch. Bob was one of my father’s best friends and I know my parents valued Bob and Bernie’s long friendship. 100 years is an amazing life. She was blessed to see so many great-grandchildren.”
