She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Rechinske and Hannah "Jennie" Rechinske; her husband Jerome Pochowski; and her children-in-law, Ann Pochowski and Martin Klepp.
She is survived by: her children, Floyd Pochowski, Diane Klepp, Russell Pochowski (Kris), Jean Schmidt and Janice Stark. She is also survived by four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to a charity of choice in Bernice's name.
