He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Garbrecht and Shirley Garbrecht (Young). He is survived by: his wife Jackie Birr; his children, Jennifer Garbrecht, Jeremy Garbrecht (Brittany) and Joseph Garbrecht; the mother of his children Jane Gilson; and his stepchildren, Daniel Birr (Heather), Markus Birr (Marisa), Tiffany Roskom (Jordan) and Brianna Biggs (David). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and four siblings.
