He is survived by: his wife Joann Hoffman; his children, Richard Bengtson, Nancy Sobieski (Ed), Mary Wong (Sam), Kevin Bengtson (Theresa) and Linda Galt (Alex); his grandchildren, Brock Sobieski (Angel), Austin Sobieski, Kevin Wong, Michaela Wong, Johanna Galt and Frida Galt; and his great grandchildren, Sydney Belle and Beckett Sobieski. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
